Stone Look Bathroom

When you want the look of stone, but not the maintenance, you go with stone looking tile.

First Look

You can tell the shower area was originally framed for an standard sized, acrylic shower surround. The shower floor had a little lean to it, causing some water to not drain along the back wall.

Under Construction

After addressing the rotten subflooring, we leveled the floor (which was almost 1” out of level) in 8ft. Maximized the shower area by removing the bump out wall. Shower pan underwent a 24hr flood test before installing any tile on the shower floor.

Finished Project

24”x48” Shower wall tile with an vertical infinity niche. New countertop and faucet on the vanity. Tile baseboards and wainscoting for ease of cleaning after giving the dogs a bath.
